I say equality is more important than freedom. Everyone cannot have unlimited freedom since unlimited freedom would mean the freedom to inhibit another person's freedom. By freeing the slaves, their 'owners' were deprived of the freedom to own slaves. There is no limit to equality.

I say freedom is more important, during the era of the Jim Crow laws that relegated black people to second-class citizen status,we were separate, but equal. The Jim Crow Laws were devastating to African American freedom and education.Even though "separate but equal" was,and has been abolished, segregation continues is many places in America, but we do have more freedoms than we had before then.

    Peace!

The movement of desgregation was not about sitting next to a white folks in a coffee shop,
    it was about equality
because if it was seperate and equal, then there would have been no civil rights struggle

Segregation means the Black folks got shoddy crap service in everything, and on every level, from government benefits and services to utilities to food clothing and shelter, and work conditions and disrespect.

    equality = freedom

In terms of "creation" and not perception equality defined in my view would be synonym to balance

free will is not defined if it is necessary to inhibit another person's freedom

balance = freedom because balance within causes self governance

self governance is a Godly reaction to any circumstance, or perceived circumstance

in my opinion there is a limit equality

freeing a slave is the arrogance of the one who thought of capture

breaking a curse is the arrogance of the one who thought (I) was under a spell

u caught up in the image
    and don't know they rhymes

u caught up in they bodies
    and don't know they minds

now this speaks right to 75, and the intent well, perhaps we become victims of our own "intent"..

c i don't want to throw off balance by denying the Goddess I feel, so I reject that I am caught up in they bodies or image

I am here cause I want to be here, so I can be there for God, that's it

There is no limit to GOD's neverending Love

    and just a general thought

our collective problem is in the thought that one is more important then the other

complimentary opposites kinda of like witchcraft and christianity and judaism and islam...... opposing forces, with common intent

the world is the problem, and really doesn't care to see the solution

the world doesn't think, it's elements are not conscious enough

    so it just does

    http://destee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66310

the above thread actually helps make my point

please be advised that this thread is a link to a closed study group...

so no responses in opposition to that particular idea is allowed.... i'm just using it to show the correlation between witchcraft and christianity

and the lack of power in complimentary opposites and acts of political correctness

People need to be equal (or actually treated as equal since they are already equal really) and then to have the same freedoms as those they are equal to....
Surely you can't have unqualified freedom or you'll run into all sorts of problems with people infringing other people, but everybody ought to have the same freedoms and the same limits on their freedoms.
