    A throne at times
    Is unceremoniously drab
    Too often, and unjustly
    Unreciprocated love
    Stands vigil over-
    True knowledge of self

    Thus, this final call...
    Placed to women of color
    Coming none too soon
    Embellishing Eve,
By the crescent of a moon
    Squashing any argument of
    Derogatory names

    Calling her... Sista

    This is "she"
    Ebony-Queen-Goddess,
    New millennium sista-
    Complete without a mister
    Better with a King...
    Makes ya' wanna sing
    Bearing gifts we bring

    Sista, I want you...

    How may I serve you
    Be the best of friends
    Love you to no end
    Suckle you again
    Understand the man
    Be your helpmate wife
    Bear another life

    Sista, just be my Queen
    Again ~
