every day
of
every week
of
every month
~EVERYYEAROFMYLIFE~
tribulations to comprehend
what seems at times
in com pre hen si ble
society deceptively apprehend
my new born mind
impose d i s t o r t e d perceptions

my view of life from the inside
appeared to be moving in slow m o t i o n
reality; it moves at full speed ahead
my life lives with or without me.

the multitude of my options
the magnitude of my decisions
the possibilities of permanent effects
misplaced dreams, lost love, fake friends.
regrettable things said or never said.
emotional burns, physcial y e a r n s~
many lessons learned.

educated by my mistakes
I acquired my diploma for
MENTAL maturity.
making me a
Certified Strong Black Queen.
