    During these times of
hasteful acts and assessing the damage later
    political player haters and
    plaigarized passion debaters
    heirarchal subjugaters and
apple pie flavored Now and Laters

I wonder what the populace thinks
not some neilson rated gallup poll
    equated survey but the people
the other 99 out of 100 they didn’t ask

those in the ghetto or trailer parks
    who have become
    second tier victims during these
    terrorist misfit acts and “re”acts

those that have found that the dream
is an air brushed aberration on a “to blue” sky

    programs cut
anorexic budgets and times are constantly
looking for a way to lose weight
as if they aren’t already sick enough

I want to know what the people think
those that did not make the ten O’clock
    newscast interviews
    society’s abused
    those that reside in shadows
    whose visa for existence
    is refused t
    hose whose fathers are incarcerated
and exists with a young life confused

whose dreams are incinerated...........voices muted so they
    can’t even sing the blues

I want to know how they feel when their
souls cannot be heard not even by 911 calls
but when buildings fall the rallying cry is
exhalted to the most high and the masses
stand united as if an emergency wasn’t
already the reality for so many/
    hopes fallacy/a united reality…
who’s to take a stand and explain
    our countrys short memory?

This is it! This is the one line that set me off & kept me readin'...

You know you're always feedin' the masses with their morning cup of joe... :D
