I am driven by my past
    & motivated by the anticipation
    of tommorrow's promise
    I'm determined to succeed
    been through too much
    To turn around now
If I was to ever give up
My struggle would be for naught
So I perserve and run with all my might
Knowing that it is not about swiftness
For I've see many run swiftly and faint
I know that this race is a test of endurance
Hence I continue to press toward the mark

Sometimes, when it takes longer then we thought it would to reach our mark, we wonder if we'll ever arrive. Difficult at those times to realize that it matters not the pace, just the level of determination, which you have an endless amount of poetess. Forge on sis.
