I danced with the morning
And with the fear of never seeing you again,
Or the dreams

Dreams that are like the shadows of hope
That follow sun-drenched people
Who dip their hands in the darkness of star filled skies

I imagined what we should be
For I believe god will rescue my faith before it fails
And harvest your love before I leave what I believe in

When I look for you between your breasts
I fear my love is like a stain that cannot blend

When I ponder what’s between your thighs
I fear I will root myself to your soul

When I seek my needs in you eyes
I feel I’m on the edge of a dream
Reaching to the other side of my life

Where I am free
