    how much i miss dat cat
    how much i miss one person
    being able to unite black people...
    will these days ever return?

    I agree with you 400% there is MUCH to our brotha that MANY fail to remember...on this day many pick and choose where and what to remember.

    The "safe" memories...where he is alive and well...but the memories that DEFINE him...where is the parade for that???

    I am proud and sad at the same time...Proud that you are TRUE to the spirit I have come to know as Angelicsage and Sad because I know all you say...is too true.

    truth, nothing but the truth.

    students happy 'cause no school today,
    workers happy 'cause they get double pay
    or off from work with pay today

    kinda like what happened with Thanksgiving
    & Christmas... huh? what ashame :(

    You, as you do, give us so much more to think about with this piece...there is so much more to his legacy, perhaps we'll never know how much more.
