Don’t you know what it means to be Black? Come over here and let me pull your ear. I have been where you find yourself Feeling like nothing much is going right. When that happens I learn a thing These are the time’s to bring Out the best of you You don’t have a thing to prove Black have skills you know we rule Innovators unlike the world has known Don’t worry that you feel alone. I like the solitude it gives me time To gather the essentials to clear my mind Then after I take and measure Black mind comes alive and unfold like treasure I come; you come up… up if in vicinity of me Black is love and sharing We two make it three Quiet your mind; listen to the wind as it blows How loud silence can be in the midst of noise. Take a moment take in this day, just being here alive I understand it is easy to react But that is something we must work on as Blacks. The trick is to hesitate, they say count to ten. But that is too long but the concept is real We come from the mind and words that we speak Are powerful revelations to shiver the weak? The weak is any enemy no matter the foe First they are thrown off balance by the silence you show Now Black deliver the message they have not learn in life They know nothing about how to live when come strife That is why they mess things up, scramble things so it seems extra hard Back to that moment when I asked this line Can you hear the silence when the noise is loud?
