Thank God way back when I was nothing
Before I even knew how to be anything
HE saw fit to turn around my everything
And make way for me to be something

Who you see standing before you today
Is only able to because He made a way
He was the potter and I was the clay
He molded me into what you see today

Though I'm not quite all I ought to be
I know He has made a difference in me
I've come farther then you'll ever see
And one day I'll be a mirror image of HE

So if you see me seeming to stumble
Please don't begin to judge and mumble

For I am still just a work in progress
And still sometimes will make a mess

But thanks to grace and mercy combined
I will one day be able to sparkle and shine

And be all that HE created me to be
So please just simply pray for me
