Passages
once filled with
exhilirating oxygen
were now stressed
beyond belief

Contaminated
with dust--
lined with stale
unclean
particle-filled air

Insanity is
choking me
sucking sustenance
out
leaving me empty
the atomsphere
turns my
brown cast
to blue

Red arteries
beating pink
lungs until they
pass out
inhaling
so hard
I create
puncture wounds
to decorate
internal organs

Imbalanced and
Induced
...the
air way's
metronome
monitors the
breathing pattern
that can not
be heard
above a sigh
and faint is the
voice that
shrills -- asking
for your help

Crying - dying - trying
hard not to forget
to breathe~
in so much pain
my memory escapes me
Each exhalation
is a struggle
my soul fails
to release
the hurt
that continues
to grow
within

My mind
is wearing and
Amber Suns
well deep with
blinding liquid
that burns
dripping onto
my nostrils

Life's energy
force is
being slowly
drained
from this
tired
and
broken
body
