Donald Trump’s win tells people of color they aren’t welcome in America
The message is loud and clear

What we just went through in American politics is not normal. It wasn’t even supposed to happen anymore — not since the civil rights movement, not since President Barack Obama’s election.

From the very beginning, Donald Trump’s campaign for presidency was fueled by an undercurrent of racism and bigotry ...

... Hamer became involved with the Regional Council of Negro Leadership in the 1950s, and then in the '60s she became involved with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. In 1962, she registered to vote alongside other activists. The white overseer at the plantation where Hamer worked found out, and she was fired. Hamer eventually traveled around the state of Mississippi, registering other black people to vote. Because of this activism, white police officers detained Hamer and others and tortured them. White police officers ordered black prisoners to beat Hamer for them - she nearly died ...

Trump won. Here’s how to fight back.

... Critics of such radicalism must expose how these plans would betray many of the voters who flocked to Trump, blocking what they can, moderating what they cannot stop altogether. Above all, they must defend an alternative vision that might bring Americans together to achieve an inclusive prosperity and a society in which no one — not immigrant, not African American, not Muslim, not white working class — feels excluded or disrespected ...

Dear All, Regarding Lenny's Letter 1950s and early 1960s report in the South, that hasn't got anything to do with what's happening today. I've been to Georgia and through Texas. There wasn't any police activity torturing people although there was that prison where the warden and prison officers were accused of forcing inmates to bare knuckle box against each other. It made the national news and all concerned got in trouble. What I am saying is the police are not in a conspiracy to torture the black community even though in arrests and chase downs when there is a struggle or a perceived struggle, there have been police even Black who have killed. And then there was the Burns Oregon shooting and killing of a white rancher who was protesting and caring a gun. And a well liked white rancher who brought a shotgun to the road where police were and and were going to put down a bull that was hit by a car. That rancher protested by raising his shotgun and he got shot to death. What does this tell us even about police vs.ranchers? Police vs. everybody? Don't appear to be resisting. Don't have a gun or appear to have a gun. And let the officer know your every move before we do it. And I would not move a muscle until I asked for permission to scratch my nose. Police are naturally suspicious.

I personally am impressed with how much Clinton and Obama have upheld our fair election principle to accept the winner as a defining brilliance of this nation. I expected some bitter response and blame game, but neither of them got involved in that. They were gracious, setting the example of the Democrat party, even as sportsmanship. For example I heard, if the other team wins and you don't like one of their players, but now they are wearing the jersey of your team (USA), then you want that player to succeed in doing the best job. You don't want your own player now (President) to fail.

The Democrat party will continue, and I'm thinking we will be hearing a lot still from former President Obama. Donald Trump talked with Obama for an hour and a half when these kind of meetings usually only take 15 to 20 minutes this morning. Trump also stated that he is willing to talk many times more with President Obama to hear his council.

So…It's going to be okay.

And what have you all got against Trump who wants to build the infrastructure of America and the Black inner-cities ? That is what Trump does. He is a builder. Of corse he would notice this.

And what have you all got against doing serious vetting of Middle East immigration. His own wife is an immigrant. His purpose is to prevent the "Trojan horse" so that terrorists don't come in with them. Also refugees are not coming to this country because they love it and want to be part of it. If they did they would not uphold Sheria-law, which is domination and disrespect for women. Do you know there has already been a proposal that we integrate that law into America. Also, 51% of Muslims already here support Sheria-law. (Sp?) Teen girls have already been murdered by their fathers because they mentioned a crush they had on an American boy. Doesn't that disgust you, and bring tears to your eyes?

What about "the wall?" Illegal Mexicans flood our borders, and actually Isis has been reported to come in among them. However, the legal Mexican is committed to this country as is the example that they go through the trouble of coming in legally. The illegal immigrant, comes in and is not committed except to get a job and interact between Mexico and America taking their money back to the flag they even carry, not ours. Our welfare programs are overburdened.

He wants to do away with partial birth abortion. Baby killing when they are old enough to survive outside the womb. What have you all got against saving Black babies. I also say any babies.

He wants to bring back jobs, by the incentive of not over taxing them so new business and corporate business can return for jobs for us. What do you have against that?

He wants to work on getting America back into condition. Couldn't we have used that two billion dollars on the ground for us rather than send it to Iran? What do you have against that for starts?
