Many members of the Congressional Black Caucus say they’re planning to skip the speech, calling it a slight to President Barack Obama that they can’t and won’t support ...

Israeli election chief puts curbs on Netanyahu's speech to U.S. Congress

Following complaints from opposition parties, election chief Salim Joubran decided that Netanyahu's address should be broadcast with a five-minute delay in Israel, giving news editors time to cut any statements deemed partisan.

"Editors-in-chief of broadcast channels will watch and make sure that nothing the prime minister says can be construed as election campaigning," Joubran said in a statement. "Any campaigning will be omitted from the broadcast."

CNN Poll on Netanyahu Visit Seen as Based on False Premise

According to a new CNN/ORC survey, a large majority of Americans believe that House Speaker John Boehner and other Republican congressional leaders should not have invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress.

Results of the survey, released Tuesday, show that 63 percent of Americans say it was a bad move for congressional leadership to extend the invitation, while just 33 percent "say it was the right thing to do," CNN.com reported.

I am still is shock how this was allowed to happen.

I always looked at the USA as being strongly patriotic.

The president made it clear that the Israeli leader was not welcomed and yet he still came.

That's disrespect on a huge level.
