No. For example, I know there are men who are spousal abusers and child molestters.

I know they exist from reading or watching the news, as well as the fact that I may personally know their victims.

But knowing them does not make me one of them. I am simply aware if their existence and the evil they do.

Does knowing their acts make me evil as well?

I think not.

No, it does not take first hand experience to know how or who a person is.

But it does take some experience to spot them.
