    Peace and Blessings Family,

Does it take one to know one?

Are there exceptions to this rule? If so, when and/or who?

    Thanks in advance.

    Love You!

I don't think it's ever true, or you could know nothing but yourself being only you.

No. For example, I know there are men who are spousal abusers and child molestters.

I know they exist from reading or watching the news, as well as the fact that I may personally know their victims.

But knowing them does not make me one of them. I am simply aware if their existence and the evil they do.

Does knowing their acts make me evil as well?

    I think not.

No, it does not take first hand experience to know how or who a person is.

But it does take some experience to spot them.

sometimes its not necessarily taking one to know one as much as it is whether or not it has happened to you. going back to the child molester and spousal abuse example that ABSiblings gave earlier, sometimes these very things actually happened to them for them to spot certain things that looks "off", if that makes any sense.

Also yes, for the most part, if a person spots something off about someone, either they have most likely done it themselves or they have had it happen to them so much that it's an old friend to them. And rarely is it "other" factors aside from those main two I have mentioned. I'm not saying other factors do not exist but it's not very common.

Wasn't my example. Though it was a good clear example.
