    Deuteronomy 32:43
Praise, O heavens, his people, worship him, all you gods!

The King James By-Bill leaves out the part about the gods but it is in the Dead Sea Scrolls and other mainstream translations.

Why does God say there are no other gods and then turn around and call the angels gods? Then in Psalm 82:6 he calls us gods. And if God has no problem calling us gods why do we cringe at the term? If we say it is blaspheme, did God blaspheme His own self? If anyone should know what we are God should know and He said we are gods.

People say they believe the Bible is the word of God but when the Bible contradicts their traditions it's the Bible that bites the dust of their traditions.
    Hmmmmmm

    Excellent questions RIVER.

We should also examine the numerous other examples within the Bible (and even in the QUR'AN) of such statements and declarations on the part of the Prophets, and even God himself.

    The Creator is above All

    Hotep

There is no way posible for "Us" to even conceive the Overwhelming Magnatude of the Creator of "All" that is seen and un-seen. At best, if and only if a person is able to reach a high level of self mastery through self awareness and spiritual development through "Knowlege of Self" and Enviornment, one may be able to apear supernaturaly Strong in the Knowlege and Faith that the Creator is omni present.
The Creator of all things is "Not" limited to any so-called human Religion or Faith what ever. In fact if any of the Prophets were to return and see what has become of their Message, they would have nothing to do with any of the so-called followers "We" see on TV and in our Communities, Except those who are Sincere, Knowlegable and Pure of Hart. Their Messages have been twisted, bent, corrupted into what ever form suits the Strongest Powers of Men. The Creator Follows Nothing but is the Natural Order of Things. Altimately nothing Good and Long lasting can come from something that is Stolen and Plagerized, such as "All" so-called Western Religions ect. The Oldest and Purest being the KMT "Medu Neter" or word of G-d. Is the Bigest Kept Secret of all time. The Western Mind or World has worked for centuries to keep Afrikans in America from Knowing the "Real-Truth", and that is, (Medu - meaning words; and Neter meaning G-d) Hence, the Medu Neter was and should be called "G-d's Words. "People Know Thy Self"

We sometimes use the word god too freely and give the word something it hasn't given itself...the word does not imply supreme or is it antithetical to pluralism.

And yet, what Ralf said is biblically correct also.

That is the problem with the By Bill. No matter which position you take on any subject you will find a verse that suppoers you and you will find a verse that refutes you. And no amount of trying to read the verses in context or looking up the Greek and Hebrew will free you from this dilemma.

Ye are gods, but you die like men...

Though all things are united, there is no one anything, anywhere in the universe! We like to view god as the absolute Most highest and without equal or mate, but it’s like the Taoist teacher once said, “the largest square has no corners, otherwise it wouldn’t be the largest square’. Then we love to see this omnipresent god as the “all in all” and put this deity solely in the utmost loftiest realm, but if he is in the largest and the utmost solely, than how do you reconcile and relegate him to the triviality of your everyday concerns and lives. For to be “all and all” then this deity should be just as relevant in the smallest and most insignificant of things (even though all things are significant). And this biblical deity attempts to represent himself in all matters when he says he created evil also. Even with the Biblical theologians feeble attempts to show an infallible, all-powerful and singular god, his fallibility and his recognition of a polytheistic world and pantheon still shows through from one biblical book to another.

I always liked what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad says in Teachings of the Messenger:

“I want you to get a good knowledge of what we are entering upon, the judgment of mankind, not of original man, but mankind. The original is not a kind of something else. The original is not from another one, but he himself is his own father and God. The original man is God and father of self. Self created. Not from another.”

Though it is not all that it should be, it is first time in eons that Black people have ever been viewed collectively as the original physical manifestation of the God force.
