DOCTOR DRE AND SNOOP DOGGY DOGG ERA

Discovered MC’S are covered with leaves my plane hovered
Over their trees trying to find flavor my rhymes are buttered
Like popcorn, drops scorned so real HIPHOP been smothered
**** great how my verses contaminate brains and bring
Straight flames to microphones, tame domes so cats cling
To this like domestic puppies, manifested yuppies try ring
Bells in HIP HOP, **** great while stupidity laminate this
Place, got to help one another “so Dawg” “what up Calf?” “twist
A verse I’m getting ready to piss and rehearse so go ahead
Rap to these cats about how we strap gatts and shoot off misled
Hats” “yeah now what it be? We got a plans hot that’s why or hand
On the glock we shoot a lots had to pop one with remington brand
Shot gun the shell casing left hell racing down the street like scared
Jack rabbits got whack habit get swift spliff and puff stuff I shared
With no one no crappy jokes about that happy smoke it’s the chronic
That leaves you bionic like Steve Austin believe it costing some ironic
Cash plus got gin and tonic in the dash We got girls so we suck breast
We duck stress when all the milk is gone our rhymes do finesse
And carress their dress the world never end with a clever girlfriend
We hurl and spin rhymes so calf” “what up dawg?” “ the world end
If you don’t rap to these chumps fed junk so gone and pump up their head”
"There you have so grab it me and my dawg rip stuff, script’s ruff like red
Johnny Walker so yall grip and sip on this ain’t nothing but a G THANG
BABY STUFF THAT’LL MAKE you CRAZY"

Well, I can't get with ya on the Dr. Dre/Snoop era.

I was more a MClyte, Eric B. & Rakim, KRS-One kinda fan.

I was never down with "smokin' indo, sippin' on gin and juice" and I'm not "straight outta Compton." LOL!

But, for me, I think this line speaks to the ruin of rap:
Like popcorn, drops scorned so real HIPHOP been smothered

Hotep Brother Rhymebad

For sure this type of "rap" has to die

I visited California.. spent six months there

Our children think gang bangin, sellin drugs and killin is cool..

I hurt for these brothers....

I remember eazy e... he died of hiv

we have to think about the children and the example that we set.

I use to like these guys, but I needed a reality check...

HIPHOP

is about peace, love, unity and having fun

if this is what we create and recite

this is what will be manifested.

HIPHOP

has got to grow up and take responsibility for it's shortcomings

as well as it's successes

it's one thing to be iced out and rocked up
but what's the point if ur gettin locked up?
