bear in mind all the deforestation, desertification, ocean warming and such and how that has affected just how that wind blows anymore. may have to do some fresh, creative "wind generation" ...

You know what Destee, religion isn't necessarily a bad thing. What makes religion bad is that what we have is not ours and does us no good collectively. If religion was structured as it should be it would be a great thing. Judaism as a religion serves the so called Jews quite well. Why? Because it empowers them educationally, economically, culturally, politically and Historically....even if it is false. The point is that "All of our people" are not going to invest themselves in the process of spiritual development. What do we do for those people? Obviously some type of simplistic system must be developed for those people. Do we have that ability to do so for the collective? Yes we do. Will we do it? I can't say right now. I'm so busy thinking about the collective as opposed to my own personal benefits that I haven't had the time to give it much thought. But I refuse to believe that others can develop a working system for the masses of their people and we can't. So maybe all this "personal thought process" we been having needs to expand to something a little greater.,...cause if the glass is emptied it must be filled again. I wonder what it will be filled with?

I actually think that Religion is a bad thing... for US! I don't think that a religion (a boxed in way of thinking) will work for melanated individuals. I realize that religion works for some races, but that is because they aren't spiritual.

Spirituality takes different people on different paths. You can have 3 different people read the same text and see 3 different things. A fourth person may have a spiritual experience that may take him/her down a different path. But that is US.

White folk, you can hand them a book and say this is the way it is, follow this.. and they will follow it perfectly. Aint no spiritual experiences and paths to go down. They will never advance it (like how we constantly advanced our knowledge). You don't have to worry about them thinking "outside the box" because they aint the type to do so. So Religion (an institutionalized way of thinking) works perfect for them. They are the type to build a Matrix and stay in it.

I don't see that working for US. I know our ancestors had a spiritual system (bases, if you will), but I don't think that every single African believed every single thing exactly. I see even on this board, people who believe in basically the same thing, but one little twist and it's ON. 46 pages OVER 3 YEARS of going at it toe to toe! One person callin himself "This".. another calling himself "That".. with the same basic belief.

Some of this is because we are still piecing ourstory together, but some of it is because melanin is chaos. Different people will always go in different directions. And every time they go in that different direction they establish another school of thought and everything presented to them outside of that school of thought is a reason to FIGHT. And we stay divided. We still haven't broken out of the religious dogmatic type MINDset.

This is why I have always hated Religion. I don't think I've met any one person who I 100% agree with on everything. So I'm just out there. Cause everyone I try to hook up wit, has a SET way they see stuff, and the least little difference and there is a divide. So, not to say that one can't enlighten another, but I feel that sometimes it is divisive.

So I think we need to establish a spiritual bases that unites us based on OURstory, that can also serve as reference for those that aren't going to invest in the process of spiritual development. But I think the Religious way of thinking got ta go out da Back DOE!

Maybe "religion / spirituality" is meant only to be personal ... since we all have personal testimonies.

What do you think ... what do you expect ... personal or collective returns ... and are you receiving that?

In true faith and religion, it's always collective. It certainly is personal, because you, yourself, are meant to experience what you must, in faith, personally while others may experience something totally different. You are having a personal relationship with the Holy KING, as well. However, you are also collectively doing these things, experiencing what you must with the family to help, and having a relationship with the Father together.

Collectively, you expect for your brothers and sisters before you expect for yourself. You humble yourself before them, serve them, show them rights and how to keep from wrongs, and in returns, you expect for the whole of the family of the faith, not just yourself.

Our being in the faith means to do for others, not just for your personal salvation. The Holy Son came for the whole family of the faith, not just for himself; had He thought on himself alone, He would have no reason to have even come seeing that He is perfect in all ways, and was already with the Father.

But thinking on the collective, He came and died, and was Resurrected back to life by the Father, so that all might have salvation; thus, to do after how He did means to do for the whole, not just yourself, and to expect for the many and not just the one.

As bad as things may be for many right now, that is something the faithful do expect seeing as tribulation comes to test your faith; and who are we to ask when it will end? Or who are we to think all should be peachy now, when we ourselves have caused much strife? We should be grateful that the Father still extends His salvation, even up to this point, though much is in confusion and many in pain.
