As i think about my desire to be a part of the collective effort in bringing our people to a higher position in our existence from where we are I've contemplated where would I be. What can I contribute to the effort.

I feel that among my strengths are communication, organizing things, childcare, and building/making things.

What are some of your strengths that you are aware of :) that you could offer to help with in this environment or if we are forced to survive without technology in some other.

Okay,..let me see... I wouldn't mind growing a big garden and breeding and raising animals to sell but only to people that can't afford to go to stores or don't have much money to buy food.

I have always wanted to grow cannibis for medicine. You know...for people who have cateracts, muscles pain, sleeping disordr..etc..

if we talking "pre-apocalypse", then turning wrenches, swinging a hammer, concrete, framing, roofing, wiring, plumbing and basic DIY type stuff like that. and as long as we have power, basic to intermediate tech stuff.

post-apocalypse: i could stand to get better at farming, animal husbandry, hunting, fishing and trapping. birthing, medicine and "field surgery" could do with being looked into as well. (there's a passage in "the notebooks of lazarus long" that spells out a bunch of stuff that one oughta be able to do before heading out with the wagon train to start a new homestead - my copy is buried in my storage locker someplace or i'd trot the list out.)
