I believe that we might have a soul mate however they might not be here in this lifetime with us.

I agree.

Know yourself well first.

Give serious thought to what qualities you like for a man to have. (This is where honesty is imperative)

Be conscious of and deliberate about where you most likely will meet someone with those qualities and go to those places often.

Keep an open mind, be patient, and make sure you look through eyes that are clear about what you see. (Third eye observance).

Don't dispair or get depressed when you don't "meet" someone immediately.

In the meantime, continue to grow as a person and do the work on yourself that's necessary to prepare for being with him, but also to still be complete without him.

Excellent!! I just want to add that our soul mates come to us in every relationship we find ourselves in, as they provide us with the soul lessons we need in order to grow in this realm of life until, to know a higher love and to function in harmony & unity with one another and with the universe. When we don't see or learn the lessons, particularly in the relationships that seem trying and testing, it is then that we say "love hurts".
