Okay dear Sis Queenie, I'll speak of Trump about other things than more money for our pockets and Nat. Security so we don't have to go to the parts department of decommissioned military equipment to keep our military operating.. How about the fact that he is regulating and building a wall to keep out a rush of undocumented illegals across our borders, bringing with them Fentynol which five grains is enough to kill the user. Also Heroine, Cocaine, etc.. Also child sex slavery. This includes younger than toddlers. Also women. Don't forget the criminal element comes through this way, murderers and vicious gang members that kill for love of it. Democrataic socialism would have us paying for 100% medical and their housing and food. That money takes away from our own citizens who need it.Sis. willa, you keep focusing this conversation on jobs and money, but, surely, you cannot separate the politics from the man that is in the WH. Don't you think there is a bigger conversation that you seem to never talk about...the character of the man and how he behaves and the violence he promotes? Are jobs the end all that Black Americans should be concerned about when it comes to politics and America's system of government?
There is a whole lot more going on in this administration than the creation of jobs and from what is being revealed, it's a lot more serious and is something that is having a devastating impact on this country that we may never recover from and surely won't lead to a better end for Black people. Who wants to model after this guy? You believe in a democracy, how do you feel about autocracy? Do you prefer that system of government over democratic socialism?
What line does this guy have to cross before we start having that serious conversation? We're not talking about dems in the WH because they are not there and when they were, never did the creation of an autocratic regime be a part of the conversation that I'm aware of.
Language has power. Look at the words, the seeds being planted by #45....a coup? The press is the enemy of the people? Fake news? Literally stripping Congress of its authority? Jobs are important, but let's be clear about the big picture and darker story.
Thoughts?
He has deregulated some job requirements so that we don't lose American companies to Mexico and overseas. This has been successful and has saved the economy of a few states. Which helps the poor.
He is lowering the cost of medication Pelosi said she was going to do but didn't. He has secured the Right to Try a medication that has not yet been released for general use yet, but has good results, for those who are out of choices. It's Try or Die.
A novel thing as a President, he is keeping his promises. He has revived NASA's space science.
He has invited and opened the White House to committees of Black people and officials where he listens as President for solutions. Black History month brought recognition and further invitations for recognition,
Veterans have been upgraded for medical help sooner and better with respect to preconditions being accepted which evidently had not been so much before.
He has given away to charity his $400.000. a month government job pay.
He travels the world talking to other Kings and Presidents for a better world and for a better deal for America in fairness. He knows his math.
He is the best communicator to Americans about what he is thinking and doing -- totally transparent.
He is an unsettling figure to Socialist Dem. leaders when he says, "America will never be Socialist!" Yay! I don't want to lose my freedom. There have been two definitions of a Socialism government, " Famine, and Death by Government Socialism = starvation."
He opened up oil surveys and fields and now America is the leading nation of oil. We are not dependent on the Middle East.
He is not afraid to give GOD credit in his speeches. That goes for us.
He is not the war monger his critics say he is, as demonstrated by staying out of foreign wars. Turks and Kurds example.
The dark thing to say about him -- He calls names. So he is not a shmoozer and that gets him in trouble with the opposition. Like I said, that at times made me want to run and dive into my pillows and cover my head because I am not used to anyone doing that and saying "Oh noooo." But now, I just cross my legs and push a chip into the onion dip.
Yours Sincerely Willa
