As some of you might already know, most of North Africa is populated by Berbers and Arabs. They view themselves as part of the Arab world, although there exists certain animosity between the two.

Culturally, North Africans are a blending of the two. Most of the region speaks either arabic or berber languages and share a common religion. They also share a common history together as they were once part of the phoenician, greek, roman, arab and ottoman empires.

And in terms of looks they tend to be more or less homogeneous.

My question to you is, do we embrace North Africans as brothers and sisters and part of the African identity?

Do they embrace Sub-Saharan Africans as brothers and sisters?

Contact the African Federation and direct your question to the African nations and the Elder Council.

    Peace!

I can only embrace those who embrace me and my Kinfolk. I live in California so I can not speak for the folks in North Africa and the point here is that they are embraced by Africans if they work and operate within one or more of the three organizational frameworks which I referenced.

It never ceases to amaze me when it comes to real and factual history how easily foreign invaders and conquers can sway our direction and reference points to our history. The conquerer re-wrote history and we greedely accepted their version as our facts. The northern invaders swept in and killed, stole, conquered the northern portion of the continent including Aegypt. They brought in their bastardized religion and customes including making us slaves in our own land. Then dominated the native people with the proclaimation of a foreign religion..."Allah or Die." Why are we not asking ourselves if we should accept caucasians in America and treat them as our "brothers?" Both groups have basically done the same thing to us. Sorry, we have already done this in America so why not in Africa too? Just questions that came into my head. I had better go to a doctor and get some drugs to correct my way of thinking....I am out of order. Peace

Who are you speaking for and under what authority? Is this the position of the council of Elders in Africa?
