Not knowing who you are can cause some controversy. Fitting in, sticking out is all it seems to be. Who you are on the inside is personal, so no one seems to care. As long as you have a sense of fashion all that is left is your hair. So there is no one to talk to and consult about your feelings, knowing everybody has them deep in their hearts wishing they could reveal them. Are we afraid to cry when someone breaks our hearts; are we afraid to laugh when someone cracks a fart? Where do we go when we don’t know who we are? There must be some place for there are so many of us out there with our own opinions and no place to express them. Loners, outcasts call us whatever you want, we are still human beings, just like you, who want to live life to the fullest. Fitting in, sticking out is meaningless to me, for I realize that I am my own person; whether you see me or not should not be a diversion. Being an individual proves independence. Who I am is just me expressing my individuality, and I look back on my everyday with pride. People out there who don’t know who they are, remember you are not alone, just stand up for what you believe in, express your opinions freely, and don’t let others bring you down, for you are your own person no matter what other people think.
