To clear things up, yes well aware of Biko's movement in South Africa of Black consciousness, but also well aware of those who opposed it as well. So what is the real deal in general among the 47 Black African nations. Is there a Black first consciousness pervasive in the Motherland?

No. You can't expect massive crops without farming. Sure a corn can show up in your backyard, but until the seeds are sown, the crops won't grow.

Once upon a time there was Massive Black Consciousness. But after so many invasions and so much oppression, there is too, too, too much confusion.

Though for what it's worth, Black Identities like Wolof, Igbo, Yoruba are first among many Africans then maybe a Nationality.
