    There may be people out there who want to give open source a spin and check out the different distributions that are out there. DistroWatch is a pretty extensive resource for that.

    From there, one can simply do some additional research or download them and play with them in a VM. If you're looking to learn more about computers, programming, or simply want access to a lot of good free software, Linux is something nice to have around.

    I'm intrigued by Raspberry Pi.

    I want to dig into that more and Android.

    I need some ARM hardware. Maybe I could find an emulator somewhere.

    I'm going to build an ARM cluster :).
