It’s hard to make when you’re surrounded by tragedy
But to give up and complain, that’s a man-made tendency
Habits are hard to break and easy to make
And it’s easy to blame the world when you’re scared to create
    You’re scared to be great
    Scared to love and loss
So you disguise it wit hate
    You’re reclined and relaxed
    Afraid to acknowledge the facts
So back, back further let evil determine your purpose
    You’re worthless unless you act
Claim the odds are stacked against you but its faith that you lack
    You still intact,
    with the ability to move,
    the ability to win,
    and the dignity to lose!
YOU! Are your enemy unless otherwise you choose!

Even a good change can make folks fearful, so often we procrastinate to delay change. This speaks truth, and I really like how you posed it.
