if a white person says a joke about a black person it's racist no matter what the context of the joke.

But if a black person says a joke and it's about a white person in a derogatory way...is the joke racist or not, because it's coming from a black person?

In order to determine whether a Black person can be racist, we must first define racism.

According to Dr. Claud Anderson, "racism exists only when one group holds a disproportionate share of wealth and power over another group then uses those resources to marginalize, exploit, exclude and subordinate the weaker group."

Black people do not hold "a disproportionate share of wealth and power over another group." Nor do Black people[in America] posess the ability to "marginalize, exploit, exclude and subordinate" another group.

Therefore a Black person can not be racist.

Okay lets say there is this derogatory, belittling joke, and you could add any ethnicity in it and it would.

So you have a black person say a joke but the joke is now about white people....is it not as racist as if a white person saying the joke but using black people as the joke?

Yes, but only in America. Come to Europe and think because you are black, you can make derogatory and 'racist' remarks about other ethnicities and you WILL be locked up..LOL.

So if I own a restaurant and I have a policy that says, "Don't hire white
people".. "give white people bad services so they won't come back".. "make
white people feel unwelcome".. is that not racist?

and.. Does any white person have an individual status? or does their
white-people-ness trump everything else that they may be?..
is the white guy that cooks in my kitchen more powerful than me even
though I gave him his job and sign his paychecks?

(these questions are really to everybody)..
.. and welcome back Knowledge seed.. it's been a while..

All you have to do is look at the word racism to figure out what it means. Its simple based on race only.

Now how would this be as a way to help us?
We could get Dr. Claud Anderson to also give us a definition of alcoholism.
And say it only exists when one group holds a disproportionate share of wealth and power over another group.
In one day we could wipe out alcoholism by all blacks.

    Question..

What effect does so-called "black racism" have on white people? now juxtapose
that with the effect white racism has on black people. same phrase but completely
different impact.. and it proves that What it is is not nearly as important as what it does.

If the offense is witnessed, then the person is going to jail, obliviously they aren't just going to take one person word against another...

British fashion star John Galliano held over 'racist attack' on Jewish woman

    http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/stand...rrested-over-racist-attack-on-jewish-woman.do

He is guilty of the same offense as Mel gibson..did Mel go to Jail? So there is a HUGE difference between the two countries.... that ''freedom'' of speech crap dosen't work in the UK as people who are deemed as ''radicals'' from the US have found out when trying to enter the country..see:micheal savage. Farrakhan etc...plus i know of two people in court right now ( TFL workers-both black) accused of making racist remarks about a white customer and his friends.
