Black People Politics : Did Dems & Progressives go too far with Trans rights?

I checked out Ground News about 6 months ago.................about three times because:

so you admit someone else tells you what is what.

Again no sources or links. What, here?
Because frankly I want to see or hear those sources where your info comes that launches you into polemics towards the left like this:

which sounds more like the one tone drone dog whistle memes I can hear any time of the day from right wing talk radio.

reading the news is someone telling you what's what? No. We read the news to be informed. We still get to think and reason for ourselves. The more sources of information you have the better. But you, with your intelligent human mind, is the tool that processes all that information and produces your own opinion.

What sources do you want? For example, for news I look for articles from actual journalists because I believe in journalism. For opinions, like many people, I see whatever comes up in my algorithm that entertains me. For example... I get lot of Reese Waters content, David Pakman, Dollemore, etc. but I've always liked the Daily Show. I also like John Oliver's show. And although it doesn't come up a lot on my algorithm I used to watch TYT a lot because I enjoy watching Cenk lose his temper against racists and white supremacy in general. I also like watching debates so that exposes me to different talking points on both sides.

As far as criticisms about the Left... bro. With all due respect, you gotta wake up. The progressive wing of the party has been talking like me for at least the last 15 years. We see the mainstream democratic party establishment as weak and corrupt. That doesn't mean we support conservative views. I challenge you to look at real Progressives and see how they talk about Corporate Dems. So no, that doesn't make me anything close to right wing. What makes someone right wing and/or maga is wanting the same policies. But if you really knew me you would know that I was a Bernie Bro because I'm for the American worker against the wealth transfer to the top 2%. For me, social issues are very important and I vote for my black candidates because it's more likely they will fight for my interests because of shared experiences. But yo... at the same time my understanding of politics and the system is all based on socioeconomics. So economics is huge for me. And I'm not just going to personally side with whatever social position that the far left liberals want me to fight for. NOPE. You know why? Because they DO NOT fight for us HALF as much as they want us to fight for their agenda. So when I said they had HIJACKED our word "woke" that is NOT something the right says because they don't GAF about us or what we mean by the words WE (black people) say. So when they (right) attacks "wokism"... its white liberal agenda they're attacking but they're including DEI and black people into it because there's no distinction being made between our BLACK ISSUES... and their liberal agenda which is puting FAR MORE ENERGY into Trans issues before making sure that black people are protected. Bro... these are the SAME white folks that will fight harder against people abusing their dogs than they will against unarmed black people getting killed in the street.

THEY ARE NOT INNOCENT!!!

So it doesn't make myself or other progressives or indepedents the bad guy just for criticizing people who DESERVE criticism. But if you aren't allowed to do that, if you aren't allowed to think critically about their agenda and DISAGREE because you think for yourself, then you are the one being told what's what. And I say that with nothing but love and respect.

The progressive wing of the party has been talking like me for at least the last 15 years.
15 years. Oh my, that's such a long time. Ummm oh yeh, that would be about the time that Obama buggered ( without the KY ) the average amerikan and left them in the cul-de-sac gutter so the Wall Street billionaires could keep their corner office suites well furnished.
Or was it before that? Just when did the chattering nabobs realize that Clinton was no more than a blue dog democrat. then a newly minted word called a Neo-liberal (aka a trickle down Reaganite) that could play a sax?
Or was it before that? Maybe the Jesse Jackson snub in the 88 campaign? when that still in transition neo-liberal Dukakis rode off into the sunset in his tank passing all those welfare queens on the way out of town? Was it then?
Or before then? How about when the political machine decided who the 68 candidate was going to be starting a fight that engulfed Chicago? and argumentatively all across amerika.

So get off your high horse there bro, you want criticism on the dems I got plenty to spare. But I put it where it belongs and not on the backs of the least among us.

Lets do a little history.
When was the Civil Rights act passed? (eeh eeh no fair peeking). And from what grew from that?
When was the Voting Rights act passed? (remember no peeking) And how does it tie into the Great Society mandate?

Long bout that time I lost whatever deferment I might have had (that's another story) and this ridiculous country decided I needed to learn the art of war......along with a lot of others so it was nothing special. And there were few things one could do to get out of that mess. Some more successful than others but there was one sure way to get it done..........declare yourself a queer. Just like that, no worries about fighting any stinking war. course that also meant no meaningful job.......anywhere, perhaps ever. That was still up in the air at that point because queer was an absolute pariah in this society and culture at that time.

I'll carry on later.
Got things to do today. Another storm closing in.
