Interesting article I came across. Not sure if everyone here is familiar with who or what the hacking group Anonymous is, but you might need some foreknowledge on them to understand this article so here's a link that can summarize who they are and what they do...
    The Claim:

Anonymous has been claiming since shortly after the November 6th election that they foiled a nefarious plot by Karl Rove to steal enough of the electronic vote in key swing states to have given the presidency to George Mitt Romney.

Before the election, Anonymous warned Rove’s people:

After the election, they claim that they did act:

We began following the digital traffic of one Karl Rove, a disrespecter of the Rule of Law, knowing that he claimed to be Kingmaker while grifting vast wealth from barons who gladly handed him gold to anoint another king while looking the other way.

After a rather short time, we identified the digital structure of Karl’s operation and even that of his ORCA. This was an easy task in that barn doors were left open and his wind swept us inside.

We coded and created, what we call The Great Oz. A targeted password protected firewall that we tested and refined over the past weeks. We placed this code on more than one of the digital tunnels and their destination that Karl’s not so smart worker bees planned to use on election night. We noticed that these tunnels were strategically placed to allow tunnel rats to race to the server sewers from three different states. Ah yes, Karl tried to make it look like there were more than three but we quickly saw the folly of his ploy.

We watched as Karl’s weak corrupters repeatedly tried to penetrate The Great Oz. These children of his were at a loss-how many times and how many passwords did they try-exactly 105.

The letter from anonymous was to OccupyforAccountability (they offered a $1million dollar prize for proof of election rigging). Anon said they declined the reward because they began their campaign before the prize was announced.

Thomas Hartmann breaks down anon's election claims:

    The Money

Karl Rove took full advantage of the Citizens United ruling and had $400Million+ to spend....and ended up losing with a mind blowing 1.29% success rate for his candidates.

    Criminal Foreknowledge:

    • Karl Rove election night meltdown makes anon's claims more believable. Even Foxnews reporters were stunned and confused when Rove kept fighting them. He wouldn't give up even after they did call Ohio. He expected a pre-determined outcome.
    • Rove gave himself away when he talked about the Sec. of State watching the totals online and the website "being crashed". In '04 the election came down to three counties Ohio, and the building the server was in got locked down by homeland security...and the server crashed (in '04 he also talked about a server crash, right before the call for Ohio for Bush). Before the crash it was leading Kerry, after it crashed it gave the county, Ohio, and the Presidency to Bush. The server "crashed" at the exact same time as the server in '04 (other websites noticed this too). Afterwords reports came out about how this "man in the middle" network they used to count the votes would only be useful if the goal was to alter the results.

The claim that Karl Rove stole the 2004 election by manipulating electronic votes in Ohio had enough evidence it went to court. Rove's own IT guru was going to testify that they did steal the '04 election in Ohio, and also claimed that Rove threatened his life if he didn't take the fall...shortly before he died in a plane crash.
    • Anon mentions 3 states the election-stealing system was targeting. The video clip started with Wallace reading an email from the Romney camp, which said they were winning or close in 3 must-win states...minutes before the Presidency was called before Obama. Like Rove, Romney's campaign expected a last second shift in voting leads that NOBODY ELSE was expecting and never came..

    • Like in '04, Ohio Republican Secretary of State installed last-minute software patches on the electronic voting machines:

    • Romney was so sure he knew the outcome he told reporters he didn't write a concession speech.
    • Minutes after conceding the Romney campaign cancels all campaign credit cards. Staffers found out on taxi rides home. Why? It seems like just another bizarre election-night story...but makes perfect sense if you thought anonymous had hacked your computers. News about anonymous using stolen campaign credit cards would also give credibility to any claims they hacked Rove's systems.

The story is still new so more should be coming out....
