Haiti : Dick Gregory Speaks on the Haitian catastrophe

In the Spirit of Sankofa and Real Truth!

we really are going to have to get away from blaming the white man for everything that ails the Black race.
That is part of the problem - until we take charge, take responsibilty and stop looking around for someone else to blame for our problems - we are not going to move forward

CILondon,

Couldn't agree with you more on this stance, however, do you agree that to take this stance requires a delicate balance, almost of no reward? In other words, there will always be those in denial and unwilling to blame any outsiders, if you will...How is this stance delivered to them?

The fact that these folks are eating mud pies, when, before,
they had strong tarrifs to potect thier agriculture enterprises, of self sufficiency,
The fact that the United States supported and propped up a facist dictator who terrorized his own peole like papa Doc, who could not enact such horrror without foreign aid and dollars. The fact that Aristede was kidnapped by the US, all point to agencies of white suremacy beyond nationality ,and engulfed in corporate interests,

The same corporate interests that had kidnapped thier ancestors 400 years ago,

now if folks are afraid to talk about color then maybe they should stop reading history
