I just don't understand why he, a black man, would go after another black man, Spike Lee.. Everyone is intitled to say what they feel bout anything, but this? Dick is how old? 80 something? I'm a bit confused....

"The White man's ice is colder than the Black man's."

Many Colonized Africans have European value systems which encourage them to value European propaganda, manufacture and creations.

I didn't really think Dick Gregory had a more Africanized sense; but it's good to be affirmed that he doesn't.

Sometimes just shutting up is better than spouting stupidity

Kemetstry, would you like for someone to speak to your older relations in such an uncouth manner? That's a huge amount of nerve to say something so unbecoming!

    2. He is speaking hypocritically

Really neither are right. We tend to forget that White folk can tell the story of slavery--Their story of Slavery--they were there too. The problem becomes when the Enslaved people look at the Enslaver's narrative uncritically as though it were their narrative.

    Malcolm said:
"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.”
