You feeling down on your luck
Scared to fall in love so heart struck
    Depression takes over your mind
The mental perception is your light
Dont let the worlds evil guide your life
Put the rifle down it will be alright
    Stop beating your woman
You know God should be your light
I know you just lost your job
    Children screaming babies mommas mommas
Looking for support from pockets depleted
    Sold all your company stocks
For your kids to keep eating
Yet D.C.F.S. is at your door
    You wondering!
Why they want to take my kids??
    "I try and I try
    I just cant handle this"
    I feel you!
When your doing everything a man
    Could do in your situation
    When your woman isnt working
Daughter only three years old cursing
Son only nine got caught flirting
Forgot to put away the porno tapes is worser
    They hauling away your kids
I think thats a little worser
Yet for certain you cant be so depressed
When is the last time you have asked the lord
    To give you strength??
    Went to church
    Asked him forgiveness??
For all the things you've done
cause all the things you've done wrong
    Just might be the reason
    Im telling you this
Its many truths in this believe me
I think you need to stop blaming the other
Man and take the realism into your hands
Cause the white man dont make you beat your wife
He doesnt stop you from teaching your children
Rights from all the wrongs that are plain too see
Stop screaming not guilty and pray
Cause the real victim is the man
That reads this and sees that this is him
Yet doesnt have the mental perception
To make the change which is him
    Whats your depression???
Does it reflect your mental perception??
    Here is a blessing!!

Brotha Tantrum you did again. Always makin a sista smile and reflect with sadness yet relief. I say that because although there is much truth to it its refreshing to know a brotha can speak about it ... acknowledge and address it.

Keep up the gift you have and us poets will be truly be Gods because we will bring out the best in people. The people of the world will change for the good.

quiet are the tears that slide down
    the face downcast burdened heavy
with the realization that all he is the
    cause and reaction to all
    his actions and depression is
the name of the place he finds hisself...

Nice flow I am feeling you on this piece :welldone:
