Puerto Rico Is A Man-Made Disaster

Months after hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated Puerto Rico, what should have been an example of how one of the most powerful nations in the world could rebuild a territory is instead an example of a man-made catastrophe now moving to the mainland.

I bet Gov. Rossello wouldn't be grinning so hard if he knew then what he knows now. All other states hit hard by hurricanes can get federal relief except PR and I'm sure by now, he knows why.

Lawmakers say speech proves Trump doesn't care about PR crisis
    [IMG]
    By Nicole Chavez, CNN

Democratic lawmakers say President Donald Trump's State of the Union speech glossed over the grim reality that at least 3 million of Puerto Ricans are facing.
"To everyone still recovering in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, California and everywhere else -- we are with you, we love you, and we will pull through together," Trump said.

Ha ha NNQ, right. The good "Governor (Ricky) Ricardo Antonio Rossello's" been smiling before, during an still is laughing all the way to Banco Popular in Santurce with FEMA relief funds thanks to his secret deal with Trumpy. Actually his biggest complaint to Orange Head was why did he have to wait in line behind the repowering of America's military bases to get back on the temporary grid. While he stayed warm, dry and well fed thanks to the ARC his secret partner in corruption San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin (The noisebox) Cruz was spending more time yapping "Woe is PR" on America Morning Talk shows then interacting with her starving constituents in Puerto Rico. GOD forbid she should get her flat feet wet reassuring her own people. Notice how after Trumpy visited PR and rubbed their heads the noise stopped. The silence was almost as deafening as the butt kissing accolades their singing about Herr Trump to this day. Word in the back country is Trumpy staked out his residential and casino property claims before heading back to DC via Mar-a-Lago.

I've been thinking that after the PR people have suffered so long in the heat and without adequate resources for so long, corporate vultures will swoop in and offer to relocate them to the mainland, pay them pennies for their property so they can get settled elsewhere then bulldoze the wreckage on the island and start building luxury hotels, restaurants, casinos, golf courses, high priced condominiums and gated communities, top of the line infrastructure including cell towers and access to wifi all over the island; food franchises that will kill the mom and pop stores. People who left wouldn't be able to afford to move back and people who remained couldn't afford to stay. Yup, that's America.

There was another thread started by Elsie addressing Hurricane Maria thanks to HAARP that eventually wound up addressing this very same issue. The Puerto Rico Government's dubious land grabbing Forced Expropriations Law A/K/A Illegal Gentrification was already in full swing as the indigenous citizens were vigorously invited and in some cases aggressively requested to relocate to America with all the wonders they'd never see if they dared stay in their own country. The Puerto Rico real estate land grab shell game is doing for Trump what Cuba was to supposed to do for Former President Barack Obama. America will collect the billions in debt default from Puerto Rico one way or the other. But either way America will eventually be paid back in full with billions more in invested profits, skims, rake offs, kickbacks, fraudulent insurance claims and more efficient autonomous under The IRS radar offshore money laundering cyber banks. The nouveau riche California Bitcoin moguls are already pulling up anchor and heading to PR as I type this. Nothing like raping a territory for all it's worth. A penny for a dollar amigo? Sorta like reverse colonialism.
