Black Poetry : Denial

It has suddenly come to me.
You are not what I want or need.
The neccesity of you was born
during one night of passion.
Passion that was so awe inspiring that
the simple thought of it causes my
skin to warm.
But.
Still I don't want or need you.
Even though you make my pulse race
and occupy my every thought.
I don't want you.
See I have things going on in my
life and you don't fit into my
program right now.
I know I wake up and go to sleep
to the sound of your voice but see
you are not my cup of tea, my type or
the one I want in my life.
So see we need to let this go because I can
live with out you.
