It happens to all of us, but recently I've been taking this phenomena more seriously.
I always would brush it off in the past as nonsense (probably because of my eurocentric
thinking), but I am really wanting to know more about Deja Vu from an African/Indigenous perspective. Please share your thoughts.....thank you.

I am not aware that deja vu is an African concept so I would like to know as well.

Yeah...everytime I look it up, I only see white psychologists speaking on it...didn't know if there were African centered concepts that speak on it...........

Okay so now I will tell you what I think considering the "seven parts of the soul".

It is known that Jung studied anceint Egyptian/Kemetic texts and I thnk that his reference to "deja vu" has to do with the part of the soul or Shadow known as the Khaibit.

It seems that deja vu has to do with astral travel or travel on the mental plane where the body in awakened state is not fully awoke but an incident occurs which triggers memorization of events which occured in process of astral travel. Here we are talking about astral projection in real time.

I have had this occur numerous times, even recently. I do not remember my dreams, for the most part, and when I do, the memories tend to give me the feeling of living in what I have described before as a parallel universe or "shadow world".

Again, this is only what I think, so thanks again for stimulating some deeper thouht processes.

    Peace!
