DECIPHER MY DREAMS

Can someone decipher my dreams for me?
What are these dreams supposed to mean?

I’m dreamin of blackwhiteblackwhite roses
Hoverin above me as my heart composes
A resting place for when my mind doses
To remember God’s grace in all my proses

I’m dreaming of ebony flavored summer days
Filled with ebony marching people with their hearts ablaze

Dreamin of a nice cool drink from the freedom fountain
After the treacherous climb up freedom mountain

I’m dreamin of cool hot warm sweet proclamations
Of love while bent on slow soft
Conversations
With every person I meet
And every word they say
Drippin into me
Fillin the questions inside of me
Like a beautiful unified symphony

Could you decipher this please?

I sit and dream here of jet black trees and checkered flowers
I can ponder their existence for hours and hours

I’m dreamin of a where no laws had to be emancipated
Everything by the black was appreciated

I’m dreamin of a Pan africanistic soulful dance
I watch the world together as they do the freedom prance
With a nightly romance
Taking peace by hand
No color is ever glanced

I dream of a place were the existence of today is like a breath of fresh air
Has the fresh dip of cool cream coffee ice feeling here
Nobody judgin’ nobody anywhere
I whip myself through time until I'm barely there

Barely there to wake up and remember the crime
Barely there to know injustices done to my kind
The hate that springs like milk mixed with bigot limes
Makin limeade that took my people’s blood traded it for dimes*

Do you know what this means?
Can you decipher my dreams?

When I’m livin in my dream
You can catch me at a window
Because I want to fly
Right next to the sky
And go higher than birds go high
No one can catch me
No one can see me
I soar for the people who were made to die
I stay forever asking why, why, why?

When I dream I dream of lighting like a flame in the darkness
There’s would be wind to expire me
Cause lo and behold I would finally be free
You would be free
My soul would be free
Finally I can run outside and be me
Refreshingly
Spiritually
Consuming everything I can be

When I dream, I dream of mind scribing
I am taken still with pages
Pages and pages of black leaders courageous
And there are stages upon stages
Of apologies
From all the people who wronged us
Our ancestry
I say finally
Some reciprocity
Can I have the mule and forty acres please?
Too bad too soon I woke up from this dream

But I also dream of taking thoughts like I sip hot cocoa
As my friend says it, no more livin La Vida loco
Gave away the prize Gucci, donated those Manolo’s
Figured hey I’ll give away my things
Just to wear them freedom rings

Had a dream Martin Luther King and I took a long walk
Told him my goals he understood them and we talked and we talk
About things as trivial as the light of sun’s position
As it gracefully acted in the soulful rendition
Of color intermission
For skin color’s commission
I love the view of beautiful dark chocolate faces in my vision

And the clouds
In my dreams
It looks so different when you look at it now
That’s cause you can see yourself there when you look at it now
Don’t know how
But when I looked at it, I ain’t see no flaw
As if God was right next to me,
Embracing me, lovingly
Telling me not to worry
Cause everything was alright
I stay there to bathe in this new freedom light
And as I’m ready to take the freedom flight
My mind races through me and awakens me with spite
Teling me I can’t dream,
I still have to fight
For true freedom

And that is the end
The end of all my dreams
No more time for dreams
Gotta come back to reality
As if someone just pulled on my gravity
Sayin no sorry
No fantasy for you
Go on in life
Your dream ain’t gonna come true

Will that be true?
What does my dream mean for you?
Do you see a bunch of words?
Or can you understand the spiritual verbs

Do you think you could decipher this dream for me?
By helping this world to be a little more free?
You might think I’m crazy
You may just want to sedate me
But I can’t ignore this pain that is bleeding through me
So my subconscious created this dream remedy
Until I am well until I’ll be ready
To begin to play the tune of the freedom melody
Blast it throughout the entire country
I’ll say
No the spangled banner ain’t playin today
Who wants to listen to a bunch of lies anyway?
And yes it’s will be on my Birthday
The 29th in the month of May
As in May you hear my peace address
May you listen to my soul expressed?
Read the dream written by the reality press
See the dream of all come to reality, yet.

And still, can you tell me what this means?
Can you decipher my dreams?
