Haven't written an installment to this "Island" series in quite a while...

He was away
She missed him, and felt so alone
And she told him exactly that
As she spoke to him over the phone
I know you're away on business
But have we been too busy for each other?
It's not like it used to be...Remember how we
would take fantasy trips away with one another?

He replied, Yes baby, I remember the places our
minds took us. As we laid upon each tropical shore
so wrapped up in each other's charms
wanting and needing each other all the more...
You know, I don't come back home until tomorrow
night, but let's meet each other in a dream
Our energies will merge together, such that
the miles between us won't seem so extreme

So that night she laid down and thought of him
The shadowy images came and went
She had a short dream about flying...being airborne
was nice, but not how she desired the time spent
Then she felt like her being was somehow being beckoned
As though she was being called...just because
Gravity seemed to pull at her thoughts, tempting
her to follow, and all of a sudden, there he was

It's about time you got here, he said
Well, I guess I had to fly to get here, laughed she
And they both admired their personalized scenery
After all, this was their fantasy
the sand was crystal magenta
the ocean was emerald green
the sun, a fiery orange, ablaze
in the clearest blue sky ever seen

All this beauty, was reflected in their eyes
As they became hypnotized by each other's gaze
They became entwined in a long soulful kiss
the kind that seems to go on for days
Then his mouth began to explore
and then hers, rediscovering secret paths and byways
amid whimpers and whispers, pleading for more
And all too soon, they awoke

He picked up the phone after one ring
So...what did you think of that emerald green ocean?
He replied, It was as breathtaking as the magenta sand.
But none of that can hold a candle to our love and devotion
Yes baby, she sighed, I'll second and third that emotion
Can't wait to see you later, be safe.

When she decides to meet him, and he decides to meet her
Nothing can be sweeter...
