    Death
    Lingers
    Close
So, I hope angels are close by
I close my eyes to pray
but too much anger is inside of me
    To speak
    I hold back emotions
    But these feelings are involuntary
    Confusion more than momentary
I take moment after moment of silence
Its seems I'm testing my own sanity
    Products of this casualty
Those who think it better if they pity me
    You fools
This wasnt only done to me
Sons, Brothers, Fathers of a family
    Still living is their legacy
As long as there is strength in me
All this strength they give to me
As long as they have place to dwell in me
    I will never say goodbye
Who am I to question time
    as borrowed as it is
    his to take
    his to give
    and how can you blame
    he who forgives?

The whole of this really touched me in a deep place.

And these colored parts rocked me so!

I really couldn't pick any one favorite part....The whole piece was AWESOME!

So many different imageries and memories came forth when I read this.

    FABULOUS piece!

I could sense the intensity under the surface,
almost holding my breath, wondering where you would
take me. I am still in wonder and in awe, poet.
(Btw .. on the matter of death I share the same view with Baller)
