The phone rang got a call today
Heard the voice so clear yet it seemed far away
I didn't know what was the matter
Your voice cracked like a thunder clatter
"What's wrong dear friend are you alright"
"I can't take this anymore so I'm destroying my life"
Tried to figure out why you did it what caused you such pain
I just wished it would rain, rain, and rain
Heard the noises as you broke cds and turned over tables
Loud screeching noises like cow stables
Uncle yelled"D you alright"
Got quiet settled your difference after the fight
Long low moans sounding like a horror flick
threw the rope over tied it and felt a click
Died in the garage no one knew til the next morning
"D get up come on mama D won't get up for school"
Opened the door saw your body flenching over the stool
Rushed to the hospital in a bad state
Still alive only by fate
Stole ya life away just like that
Remember you have 1 life not 9 of a cat
Man it's so hard cuz now you're gone and everybody misses you
Remebered how you cut up in class and we'd laugh at the things you do
Layin in that casket didn't seem real to no one
Stil looked good with your jewelry and red jacket on
17 years old could've been grown
Saw your birthday in the paper last week that's why I wrote this poem.
~Dedicated to my boy D. Stone love you baby R.I.P.
