    Strange is the feeling
    My soul is dying
    Helplessly I watch
    As I keep on trying

    My heart and mind
    Understand the transition
But so delicate is my soul
    Fragile in composition

    The signals are there
In what's said and not said
My soul the last to know
    It sleeps alone
    On a death bed

    My mind thinks through this
When I die my broken heart will mend
    But what of my soul
As its life nears the end
