Dear Moon
You are but an Illuminating light
Which cast forth shadows against my bedroom walls
I can hear you calling me….
To come closer
And gaze upon your solemn face of wonders…
For many mysteries you carry
You capture the radiance of me
And causes the tides of my heart to rise and fall
Crashing softly against my crystalline shore
Of white sands, corral reefs, and the shells of life
Only to take a part of me
That which is my heart, a sandy beach
Back into the sea
Never to be seen again
Dear Moon
You are but an Illuminating light
Which cast forth shadows against my bedroom walls
I can hear you calling me….
To come closer
And gaze upon your solemn face of wonders…
For many mysteries you carry
You capture the radiance of me
And causes the tides of my heart to rise and fall
Crashing softly against my crystalline shore
Of white sands, corral reefs, and the shells of life
Only to take a part of me
That which is my heart, a sandy beach
Back into the sea
Never to be seen again
Dear Moon
