    The world makes me madd
All my celeberty role models r all dead
    One had a dream
    One spoke his mind
    and One was a Cathlic
    Kennedy, X, and King
    Killed in the same decade
    Because of color and race
scared to see the change in the world
scared that the black man was going take over da world
    scared because they were different.
Brought so much pain to their familes
none of these men seated at the children high school graduation
How could hate somebody so much u killed them and take away their life
How can u look at yourself and say u killed one the most
open minded men of the 60s
Because one didn't know his place
one had to much power for a *****
and one was a "****** lover"
Even though it was 40 years ago and I wasn't even thought about,
it was a big impact on me
knowing I won't being able to shake their hand
knowing I won't be able to say I appricate what they did
knowing I won't be able tell the I proud of my black heritage
or that I can sit by a white girl in school.
Because its all your mother ****** fault
and I hope they will find u one day[/COLOR]

I understand what you're saying, and you could probably name a few more. I think that if you look a little more closely, you'll find role models that are alive.

So much happened back then in so little time, to men who made such an impact upon us, I see what you're saying. Flow some more.

Mind if I recite a quote I once heard ? I was so moved by it that I sometimes try to remember it as I move through life.

    QUOTE:
"When arguing with a stupid person...make sure their not doing the same."

Having said that...I need to say this: Your poetry was none other than beautiful...I loved it, ..I felt it and can totally relate to your feelings. And even though all this was before your time...time is still inportant and to the essence...meaning that: Yes, their gone...but you're not. We can't die with them...or did we ? You can make a difference...you are MY future. Guide me well.
Allow me to say this: I do beleive or better yet, I know that you hold very true to the "QUEENESS" of your name.
and that being the case...the last two lines to that ever so beautiful poem does not have a place there. (just my opinion)
    luv your work.... queentswana :spinn:

there is a time and place for all things, your passion is felt, now is the time to be the SOLUTION, all we have is now, yesterday is a mist, tomorrow never comes, make changes NOW and the future will hold more leaders - YOU COULD BE ONE OF THOSE LEADERS seeing how passionate you are. In order to appreciate good times there must be bad, in order to appreciate what our ancestors did for us, we must experience a time without them. That time won't last forever, life is cyclical, it moves in seasons, the Leader season will come again.

I feel exactly the way 2fish do..."the leader season will come again"...and my guess is that, if you stay on the road you're on...You will be one of my/our future leaders.
    I'm so glad that you're a focused person :)
