Day of Decision [Part I]

According to ancient prophets who were also authors there will be a time on this planet earth in which a great battle will be fought. Who, what, where, when & how? Based upon my research and beliefs this great world conflict will happen and the following becomes a response to the previous questions posed. Although, the answers to these questions will not be answered in totality in this one response alone, it will at least offer a beginning. A full answer would include about 6000 years of human acts and deeds and future events that have still not come to pass and this would be the very nature of this prophecy regarding a great Day of Decision.

Prophecy or predictions about the future, whether it be on the basis of scientific observations, an historical basis or etc. can be a vital source of information. Scientist today base a lot of their future predictions about this earth on what they call ‘Global Warming affects’ so much so, that world governments have actually come together and put a lot of money into programs surrounding these predictions. In addition, governments today have given billions of dollars to scientist to study and predict future events of how our planet earth interacts with other stars and constellations, and they have used these avenues to advance civilizations. Even though this government has been almost completely silent about ancient scientific prophecies written down by ancient priest-scientist [wise men] in the Bible, it would be absolutely ridiculous to believe that they have not regarded these ancient scripts because many written prophecies have already come to pass. Ancient prophecies were based upon the same principles used today by scientist; scientific observations and governmental support. But unlike today, ancient Bible prophets offer definitive dates and furthermore, they admitted that their prophecies were also based upon supernatural visions. One such prophecy concerning a great battle was written down by several prophets and its frameworks are based upon scientific observations, historical patterns and a proper measurement of time.

When Plowshares shall be beaten into Swords

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks
into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
JOEL 3:10.

Joel wrote his prophecy hundreds of years even before the rise of the Roman Empire and he wrote specifically about a great war to occur in these last days. Joel pinpointed this great world conflict and framed it based upon an accurate measurement of time, however, in order to understand his writings, many more writings by other authors must to be considered. For instance, Daniel who wrote during the Babylonian empire rule, in the year 488 B.C. and also during the Persian empire rule, spoke about end time judgments and he also framed his writings based upon science and an accurate measurement of time. And then more than four hundred years after Daniel another man wrote about the same future world conflict. John-the-Revelator wrote his book in AD 90 which was ninety years after the formation of the Roman Empire and his writings confirmed the past writings of the long dead prophets about this same future event. So when all of the writings are taken into account it becomes evident that the Nebiim prophet Joel pinpointed this great war to occur after AD 2012 whenafter ‘the great city-government’ would begin to be judged, after the Second Resurrection, and after many more events would occur. And the very choice words used by Joel and other prophets gives incredible insight in regards to the very science of the planet earth during the times that they refer to. The very phraseology that Joel uses to define the weapons used in this war reveals and confirms other writings that this earth has been prophesized to experience a great meteor storm in which will affect this planet so much so that mankind will not have the resources they do today to manufacture powerful weapons of force to control other civilizations. This prophetical meteor storm will completely change the physical nature of this planet and in order to understand Joel, this redundant part of prophecy must be considered. In fact way back during the lifetime of Enoch-Seth, he prophesized this great battle marked by this Meteor Storm before he was martyred in the year 3025 B.C.. Enoch’s words were rewritten by Jude who wrote that the Lord will come with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all,... [JUDE 1:14-15] proving that this end of the world event was set a long time ago.

This great prophetical meteor storm (sometimes symbolically referred to as ‘a great winepress, hailstones, and etc.) written about also marks and reveals too that some of the future events described don’t all happen at the same time. In fact, some events are written to occur simultaneously and at the onset of the beginning of the world judgment while other events will occur by and by over the course of at least another one thousand years! Indeed, when Joel wrote about an event happening during a total solar eclipse, there happens to be at least another time within about a thirty-to-forty year span in which another total solar eclipse occurs again and so, Joel details two different conflicts to occur at the onset of each total solar eclipse. In one eclipse, Joel and other prophets detail the kind of technology used during a great war that has been defined as ‘the great battle of ARMAGEDDON’ of which has its origins in a particular land area and then in another eclipse Joel places another great battle in another area in ‘the Middle East’ in which he calls ‘the valley of DECISION’ [also; the valley of Jehoshaphat]. However, just like many historical conflicts such as the Crusades of which lasted for almost two hundred years [200 years], the battle of Armageddon has not been defined to be fought in one land area and to end in one day. And according to Jesus and other writings and of whom spoke in detail about these end times, both of these great battles that began at the onset of Armageddon and end in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, are connected and they both occur after the great meteor storm:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven
,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall
all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in
the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
[ST MATTHEW 24:29-30]

Jesus specifically defines a total solar eclipse of which, like all eclipses of this nature, sparks earthquakes. But this one also sparks the great prophetical Meteor Storm. Some prophets describe people having to take shelter in rocks and caves for a time. But at some point after this natural phenomena of a meteor storm there happens to be a specific time span of which brings us back to the Book of Joel. Jesus marks another specific event with the appearance of the very star that marked his very birth and the beginning of the Roman Empire; THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN [the planet Saturn or, the Star of Bethlehem]. So between the total solar eclipse that sparks a great earthquake and the great meteor storm, and another total eclipse that includes a planetary alignment, the Star of Bethlehem is detailed to mark another event to occur in the valley of DECISION in which the tribes of the earth shall mourn. Cont.

The total solar eclipse and the consequent earthquakes
It has been observed in the past solar eclipses that some strong earthquakes followed that eclipse, and in particular in the regions of the earth where that universe incident occurred, i.e. the umbral path or the region where the shadow of the moon was prominent and the solar eclipse was total (and the neighboring regions).

After the total solar eclipse of 1999, (solar eclipse = new moon), a great earthquake happened which struck Greece and Turkey. Many other severe earthquakes took place after or close to a full or new moon event. My theory stays the same for the Indian Ocean earthquake, …

WASHINGTON — Tinkering with Earth's climate to chill runaway global warming _ a radical idea once dismissed out of hand _ is being discussed by the White House as a potential emergency option, the president's new science adviser said Wednesday.
That's because global warming is happening so rapidly, John Holdren told The Associated Press in his first interview since being confirmed last month.

Signs of the Times of the Last Days
The Second Coming of Christ
"And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" Matthew 24:3

Many of you sent emails after the September 11 attack asking if Revelations is happening now. You wanted to know the Signs of the Times. The answer is that yes the events predicted in the book of Revelations are happening now and have been for decades.

Revelations, Daniel and Isaiah all predict great and terrible events for these the last days. A terrible apostasy. A great restoration of the fullness of the gospel. Terrible commotion of all the elements. The great opportunity to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth. Wars and rumors of wars spreading fear. And Christ promising peace in the hearts of his followers.

The Bible gives us specific prayers to pray and actions to take to help us through these times. These are at the end of this article.

The policy of the Bible Timeline site and the Question-of-the-week email is to present information using the actual words of the Bible but not the interpretation of it as that varies sect by sect. This is especially true when it comes to the interpretation of the revelations concerning the last days.

For example, the word "Rapture" is not used in the English Bible although it is in Greek. Each sect has different expectations of the "Rapture". Some expect it to be one event, others suggest two raptures and another defines it as ongoing. Many say this is an actual event of lifting of people to meet Christ, others say this is an ongoing spiritual event of those turning to Christ. Others do not use the word at all.

For that reason this issue gives a short one line description of each event in the order it is expected to occur. Many events are simultaneous and ongoing. Each line is followed by the scriptures where the revelations are found. All sects seem to be in agreement on this much.

This is enough to know how to prepare for these calamitous events. For the interpretation of each event please see your local minister or Christian author. The prayer for understanding is always answered.

Awesome read!

What I know as one faithful to the Father and the Son is that the Day of Judgment is a day that though not feared by sinners, should very well be because their end is not something that would be pleasing to them.

One must have faith in the Holy Son who sacrificed His own body for us all and our sins, and belief in His works and resurrection from the dead to life eternal, if they seek to have life themselves and to be forgiven of their sins and justified in faithful works.

So, the Good News must be spread as long as there are ears that must hear. :)
