Believe it or not, I've never seen the show...but I keep hearing about how funny it is. Is the 1st season worth buying?

    Brother Panafrica...

I didn't really like the first season to tell you the truth...
Dave used the "N" word to extreme excess which turned me way off

    :puke2:

But when I happened to peep a show this season
It seemed like he had toned down a lot.
It's still not for the faint of heart though,
and definately not for the kids...

    Much Peace,
    Akilah :spinstar:

Thanks for the review Akilah...I best remember Dave Chappelle as "conspiracy brother" in Undercover Brother. This is one of my favorite movies (makes me laugh everytime I see it).

Dave Chappele is just simply off glass.

I spelled his name wrong on purpose, because he almost got me fired one time.

I was laughing so hard my desk that they almost called security on me and had me removed

    LOL.

I hear you Akilah, my neighbors probobly think the same about me. I laughed so hard one time, this man was asking me if I was ok when I went to check my mail becuase I had been crying so much from laughing. :bawling: I liked the first season a lot better, especially "Ask a black dude". Although he is funny on the show and on stand-up's; I don't believe he is this generation's Richard Pryor. I think  Chris Rock is our Richard Pryor.

Dave Chapelle is halarious. I got the first season (after I started watching season 2) and it's funny. I does use the "N" word alot though. His Rick James skits are too funny. I say buy the first season. It's pretty good. Anyone seen the "Black/ White Supremacist" skit? Me and my brother laughed til we cried on that one.
