    With eyes wide open
    So little is seen
    The subtle
    The feint
    The in-between

    But within the darkness
    When eyes are closed tight
    Clear is the vision
    Through mental light

    Things add up
    Motivation becomes clear
    A far away blur
    Now suddenly near

    Behind wide-screen eyelids
    Life’s images are seen
    Sharp as can be
    The vision in my mind
    A perfect 20/20

    my vision is best
    when I'm far
    for to be too near
    is to know no fear
    which is dangerous
    in the jungle of life
    when the trees
    tangle thoughts
    when the wrong
    feels right
    if I close my eyes
    for a third eye view
    I step back a bit
    and see what is true
    I have learned to
    see,
    through another test
    and not being too close
    for me, is the best

this is my free flow this morning, Mr. Beat...and I thank you. :)
