    Breath of God,
calm me in this time of
    animated passion.

I step outside of my earth shell,
    and view Me.

My cheeks are a burnished red hue,
    my eyes, wide, febrile and glazed;
my lips stretched thin in a taut smile.
Enjoying and basking in the deliciousness of the
    Pride of Life

The affects of it come rushing...
    ......Tsunami's of dissident sentiments,
    ...........crash against my sky.
......The loss of my footing on reality,
    ...fading whispers from my memory...
.......A half empty glass of Jack Daniel's Gin,
    spiked with the world's Sin.

    Inebriated
    *****Castrated,
    ......and unaffected.
All of a sudden I am eunuch.

    I stand watching Me.
    Observing and screening
the psychotic gyrations of an empty
    frame that leaves me
wheezing in confusion and choking on doubt...
Could this nutty, feverish embodiment be me?

    Convulsions at the dilution of
    my reality and inconsistencies,
    I conclusively see.....
and stand face to face with the realness of Me.
Its time to inter this Siamese clone quickly.

    Whisper of Reason,
stand by my soul and renew
    my resolve to stand.
I stare down into the tenebrous mausoleum.
I stare into the death-filled eyes of Me,
    and finally peace embraces me.
    I am freed....
    .......Complete, free and at peace

Smirking at SwtT....I think if one is able to stand outside of oneself, especially when in a "dark" mood, there would be an eerie feeling initially, and then hopefully, an acceptance. Keep doing what you do poet.
