i live in TushKauLoosa Ali Baba or Tuscaloosa, Ala
Occupation
construction
i've been holding this feeling at bay
until this day i feel like a ray
from the sun
to the earth's clay

everything in between means little to me
why? because of what people did to me
my own mother asking people "who is he?"

i feel like a mutated gene of bacteria
now i am a virus in your interior
breaking down all those who feel superior

you question me as i prepare deliverance
your ignorance now causes pillages
huh, you thought you were militant

all i wanted was to want to go home
to the place where the buffalo roam
back to the blackest chromosome

you look at me with a hatred and i used to cower
now, i absorb all of that power
and then i await the divine hour

if one color means the world to me it would be yellow
like the bright sun on rose petals
or like old gold... mellow

this same color shows my anger, frustration, and madness
but, someone has stolen my sun and it's replaced with sadness
magic how the tables turn forward and backwards

but, dam im mad as hell and happy heaven knows
heaven glows, heaven shows, heavenly destiny goes
on and on i suppose...

OUCH! i just hit my big toe!
and i'm mad at the maker of this ol'...
this ol'... dresser full of these clothes

i'm mad at the world today until this pain goes away
at least while i'm aching my mind won't stray
say, is that a blue jay singing so gay

a yellowhammer and a red robin flies by
right now i want to laugh, curse, and cry
mixed emotions, mixed up as i
