Daddy just went out and bought a gun.
    Everybody run.
Daddy just went out and bought a gun.
    Everybody run.
He ain't in his right state of mind at
    the time.
I suggest you see the sign.
Something more powerful has took control
    over his tortured soul.
And the blood inside him that flows is
    running cold.
His eyes are empty and black as midnite
    shade.
    Be afraid.
    You betta be very afraid.
He got oceans of emotions clouding his
    thought.
He only finds satisfaction from the
    weapon he bought.
So don't get caught if you see him walking stalking the block.
Don't go in shock if you hear the hammer
    being ****ed.
Your best bet is you betta run.
Daddy went out and bought a gun.
Cause somebody murdered his only son.
Somebody malicioulsy took the one thing
    he loved unconditionally.
Punishment must be swiftly and efficiently for him to regain his
    dignity.
Some unreckognizable face in the crowd
made it a case to give his boy a place
    in a cloud.
Now the bell tolls and grows loud.
Vengeance will be bittersweet and he
solemnly vowed on his son's grave that
    no civilian will be saved.
No lives will be spared until the time
with his son can again be shared.
Until his broken heart can be repaired
he walks with a gun and a picture of
    his murdered son.
    Everybody run.
Run fast and run hard and don't look
    back at all.
You don't wanna trip and fall.
He never taught his boy how to play ball.
He was ripped from his grip before he
    could crawl.
It was hard for him to try to get by.
Then he made up his mind it's gon' be
    eye for and eye.
    Die for a die.
One last cry only give him a brief escape.
One last goodbye before he take his leap
    of faith.
Prayer will keep you safe until you come
face to face with the man and his gun.
    Somebody murdered his son.
    Something has gotta be done.
    Everybody run.

    i looked at this,
and was about to turn the page.
    but somethings had told me,
    that i betta stay.
    and after i read this,
    i knew why.
    that i couldn't,
    pass this by.
    i felt what you said,
    in every way.
    these things are going on,
    even today.
    the man that holds,
    the gun in his hand.
    should put it down,
    and gratefully stand.
    i noticed you haven't written,
for about a minute or two.
    so i was just wondering,
    what happened to you?
    well anyways,
    i hope you come back.
because the flow that you wrote,
    i understood just like that!
i hope you get to read this,
    and decide to write again.
    i just joined in march,
and i wish to have you as a friend.
    i write poetry too,
but it never comes on the forum.
so i continue writing them on my replies,
    instead of containing boredm.
    i can only ask,
that you continue what you set out to do.
    don't worry any more,
no more typing will i do.
    i'll close this poem,
    that i love so great.
and hope to hear from you,
i live in the lone star state...................(LOVED YOUR POEM--DEEP)(write me at [email protected])
