Da Star
Did you ever think,
That you were going to be a star?
Playing leading roles,
In nocturnal features?
Acting as a creature of pure desire,
Filling every preference,
Just with the essence of you,
With me co-staring.
Scenes of drama,
Positive karma,
Romance…
As we dance in this script,
With our lips meeting,
Over and over again,
As the writer gets caught up,
With his pen.
And I emulate him,
As I get caught up in his work,
Designed to make magic,
And I draw as much as I can,
As I embrace the time allotted,
For our hands to explore each other.
Piercing through the thick vibes,
Of purposed pretend emotions,
Which along the line transformed,
Into real feelings,
Comes an interrupting,
‘That’s a wrap!’,
Simultaneously as I feel a tap,
On my shoulder,
As I feel God’s spirit,
Beckoning me back to earth,
Into the land of the living,
Where your star career was birthed.
I will be looking forward to frequent future appearances,
More desired off screen,
But I guess I’ll just have to settle,
For seeing you in my dreams.
