beats barbara bush all to hell......
nawww ... she's Black ... give it a minute, and you'll have 999 folk telling you why she's no good ... the worst first lady ever ...
That's just what we do to each other ... i'm beginning to think we can't even help it ... can't even see ourselves ...
I pity the Black Man or Woman that tries to do anything ... their own people will kill them ... history has proven it time and time again.
But she really does have it goin' on ... don't she ...
Not at all in fact what history has shown
is that Black women in politics whether here or in Africa
never forget their base,
and get nothing but praise
Even Republican Shirley Chisholm, who ran for president,
was loved by her mostly democratic Black constituency she served in Brooklyn

.....If that's the case, you'd be in President Obama's corner knowing who's running the World now...hint: look up David Porter's...Private Secretaries Run the Whole Wide World, lol and give the song a listen....can't have it both ways, brother
what are you talking about?
Now the Black woman in Political Power is reduced to a whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat????????????????????????????????????????
Was this an Armstrong Williams joke?
In the Spirit of Sankofa and Update!
......No, you just failed to follow instructions and are being insubordinate, brother.
Now Im wid this, cause Michele Obama is the most beautiful first lady ever. I love the fact that she represents family first.
Sorry to interrupt the regularly schedule program...but Imma say this.
I repsect Obama's accomplishments, the inherent symbolism and potential of his Presidency. The doors that this could open.
My experiences and my elders have taught me that most politicians are like entertainers. Phenomenal on stage, but its what they do off stage that is most significant. The legislation they sign. Therefore, I never put 100%, blind allegience to any of them. Ive worked with them on the local level. I see what they do.
It is absolutist, all-or-nothing thinking, to say that any human is perfect. I agree with some of Obama's policies, some I dont. But to say that someone has to lockstep with the entire Obama administration....and if you oppose it, then "its a strong indicator of your self hate".....???? Or to assume that someones strong dislike extends to his wife and family? I dunno.
It's like the Pan African/Afrocentric person telling you..."You hate yourself and other black people, because you dont agree with me and you work around yt in a office and pay taxes." "You have no knowledge of white supremacy and you are a white boy. Its a double negative postulate. Hard to come back from that. LOL.
Or the NOI telling people "because you are Christian, you lack knowledge of self...you hate your own Black beautiful self." Or visa versa.
Its extremism, coercion, emotional labeling, all-or-nothing thinking. Similar response used by George Bush..."you're either with us, or against us." It automatically shuts down walls, builds up emotional responses and leaves no room for reasoned discussion. The self-defense kicks in, and we are off to raising the murder rate again.
Yep....Or as Erykah Badu said ''group think''. I've noticed there seems to be an increased in sustained attacks against persons who dare think for themselves- this is happening on both sides...
I'm not going to use the 'F' word but you know where I'm going...
Sounds good but political fanatics have thier own category, unlike anyone else
and the history , long history if you will,
of political violence in Carribean and African democratic elections is evident of that.
Fact of the matter most Pan Africanists/ Afrocentrists and Black nationalists, work like most Black folks, white collar and blue collar for white companies white firms and white unions,
so any one raggin some one from those categories is more then likely a nut with self esteem issues, and not a real ideologist
Fact of the matter about the NOI is that it is the NOI right this minute who are giving assistance to the numerous Black churches who are doing emergency services to the tornado raveged and flood raveged states right now,
so as you say action speaks more then words, and they have a history of working with the Black church, since the 60s.
