The first day I laid eyes on you
those words spoken was true
a love came abound
soft touches, secret sounds

Between them seventeen legs of years
we found growth through pain and joy
we visit places no one could ever know
saw the stars the moon and sun

Our heart bond three soul of birth
with ties of love , rapidly sweet
we kissed faith and hug hope
what we shared could never be compared

from the depth of my heart
I loved
I gave
I cherish
I believed
I rose
I stood strong against the odds

now we at this place in life
between two souls of love
united yet untamed but change
so now I sit and await the ending

If only could have saw eighteen
from the depth of my heart
what a picture it would have painted
for us to see on this journey

May I just say bye!

with blue tears.

we kissed faith and hug hope

I enjoyed the entire poem, but I love those few words together. They inspire me to the point of wanting to write to them. Also, they are so loving and promising that its sad the poem ends with a goodbye.

Nice work Rich!

Coco :)
